Radio Rehab: The resurrection of Hip-Hop in Charlotte
The Mighty DJ DR, has joined forces with some old friends to create NoDa’s new home for all five elements of hip-hop, Radio Rehab. This is the third month for the event held at the Neighborhood theatre. This week the growing fan base came out in full force to support the “Arts, Beat and Life Edition II.”

This weeks multimedia story is a profile on one of Charlotte’s rising stars in theatre arts. “I spent the early part of my 20’s quite misguided,” Stacey said. Theatre has helped her cope with her emotions but so did alcohol. She once feared substance abuse would take everything away. Sobriety has brought clarity and “opened many more doors” Stacey says. Stacy aspires to open a theatre company rooted in philanthropy here in Charlotte.
